This is an alternative replacement qualification for the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator). Level 3 Extended Diploma for Working in the Early Years Sector allows learners to acquire knowledge and understanding about child development, safeguarding, health and wellbeing, communication and inclusive practice and to contribute to children’s learning and development in the regulated provision of childcare.
Furthermore, our Level 3 Extended Diploma for Working in the Early Years Sector (Early Years Educator) focuses on subjects like holistic development, safeguarding and welfare, supporting SEND, curriculum planning, assessment, neuroscience for early years practice and partnership working. Entry Profile for L3 EDWEYS Course
The level 3 Extended Diploma for working in the Early Years Sector (Early Years Educator) is designed for learners who want to build the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to enter the world of childcare and become Early Years Educators in a nursery, pre-school, reception class or other childcare setting. The qualification suits learners who are looking to progress from a Level 2 childcare qualification, those who have relevant childcare experience or learners who wish to gain a recognised qualification that meets industry requirements. Students must be able to read, write and communicate at a high level, and be eager to attend an eight-hour work placement. Learners who complete the extended diploma are required to complete at least 365 placement hours. Learners are required to undertake an additional 65 Work placement hours if they have undertaken the Level 3 Diploma for Working in the Early Years Sector and gained the 300 hours of placement hours.
