What does studying online involve?

Online learning gives you the chance to study remotely using our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). You are able to access course materials, complete assignments and interact with tutors in the same place. This offers a convenient and easy way of learning without physical classes.

Can I learn at my own pace?

Yes, our courses are designed to be flexible and self-paced. You will be able to advance on the material at your own pace. It becomes easier to balance work, studies or personal engagements.

Are your qualifications accredited by recognised awarding bodies?

Yes, all the courses provided on Excelon Learning are recognised by awarding organisations like Focus Awards and NCFE. This guarantees that our qualifications are fully regulated and accredited by Ofqual approved awarding bodies.

How effective is virtual learning?

Virtual learning is an effective and efficient mode of learning suiting busy schedules for working professionals. Our courses are designed to give a clear direction, engaging material and tutor assistance. This flexible method enables successful course completion for our enrolled learners.

Why should I choose virtual learning?

Learning is more flexible and convenient online as you can study anywhere. It also eliminates commuting and helps you organise your time better. This specifically works best for professionals with limited time availability to attend in person and fixed class schedules.

What types of assignments are included within the coursework?

The majority of our courses include written assignments to evaluate learners’ understanding of the topic. In some of the qualifications, practical tasks may also be required through direct observations and witness testimonies. You will get expert support guidance during the course so you won’t face any issues in completing any task.

Are there any entry requirements for enrolling?

There are no entry requirements to enrol in any course. Nonetheless, the learners are usually required to be aged at least 19 years and possess a minimum of basic literacy and numeracy abilities. However, there can be further recommendations on some advanced courses.

What technology do I require to take the course?

A computer or a laptop with a stable internet connection will be the only required equipment. Simple software like a word processor is normally adequate. You do not need any specialised applications to complete your coursework.

How long will the course take?

The time duration for the courses depends on the qualification of your choice. Upon enrolment, you will have a specific time to finish your course (1 year of course access). During this time, you would be able to study at your own schedule.

How much do the courses cost?

Who is eligible to take your virtual qualification?

Our courses are appropriate for people who want to enhance their skills or progress in their careers. They are also perfect for individuals requiring flexibility in schedule due to busy work routines.

Do high school students enrol in your courses?

Yes, students in school can take up our courses. We however suggest to contact  our customer support team to understand course eligibility and make sure your selected qualification is suitable. We recommend this to ensure that the learner is fully able to match the course requirements.

Is it possible to take more than one course at a time?

Yes, enrolling in more than one course is possible. This will enable you to acquire knowledge in various areas at the same time. You may explore our Growth Bundles as well. However, you will be required to make sure that you are able to manage course load sequentially.

What happens if I start the course late?

You can start the course whenever you want to. However, you must know that the course is accessible for a limited time (12 months to be precise) so you must complete it within this access duration. If you are unable to complete the course within this duration, you may pay a re-enrolment charge to extend your course access.

Will my course run on a regular basis and when?

We do not have a definite timetable and schedule for the courses. You can access your learning material on the LMS 24/7 anytime. This will allow you freedom to study the course at your own pace whenever you want.

Do I need to buy textbooks?

No, all the necessary study resources are provided through the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). You will be able to access everything that you need to complete the course. Additional reading is optional but not mandatory for the courses.

Is there any age limit?

The learners must be aged 16-19 years and above. This ensures that they are meeting the entry requirement for the course. Before enrolling, please contact our customer support team if you are under 16.

Would you provide courses to me even if I am not in the UK?

Absolutely, yes. We offer accredited courses regulated by internationally recognised awarding bodies to learners across the globe. Due to the online format, you can study anywhere from the world.

Will you give me price matching if I come across the same course for less elsewhere?

Our prices are competitive for all courses. In case you find the same course at a lower price, you may call and discuss price match option with our customer support. We will consider the specifications and attempt to provide the best value.

What payment methods do you consider?

You may pay for your course through debit/credit card, or bank transfer. We use encrypted systems to process payment transactions which safeguard your personal and financial data. You can choose to pay the full amount or choose the payment plan options to manage your course fees. Our customer support team can provide assistance in case you encounter payment processing difficulties.

Is funding available?

Unfortunately, no. All our courses are privately funded which means they do not fall under any external funding scheme. So, learners are required to make payments individually but in some learners may receive financial support from their employers.

My payment attempt was declined. How to fix it?

If your payment attempt is declined, please check your details and try again. You can also try using a different payment method. If the issue is not resolved then you can contact  our support team at info@excelonlearning.co.uk and our support team will help to resolve the payment issue.

Do you provide payment plans?

Yes, we do offer payment plans for our courses. You can visit our course page to see the related plan and if you still wish to customise your plan then you may contact our admissions team at info@excelonlearning.co.uk. Hence, you can choose your preferred payment option at the time of enrolment.

Is it possible to receive a refund if I was unable to take the course?

If you don’t access the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) within 14 days of enrolment then you are eligible for a refund. We process all refund requests according to our refund policy. We recommend you review our refund policy and if you have any questions about it, feel free to reach out to us.

Does the fee cover everything?

The course fee covers all necessary materials that learners need to complete the course. Your certification and registration fee is also covered. So, there are absolutely no hidden costs unless clearly stated.

Is there any monthly payment plan available?

Yes, learners can choose to pay monthly for their courses. This helps make learning more affordable. You may select this option during enrolment.

I want to pay monthly but I can’t see that option at checkout.

You need to select the payment plan on the course page before proceeding to checkout. This will enable the monthly option. Please contact our admissions team at info@excelonlearning.co.uk for assistance if the problem continues.

What should I do if I miss a monthly payment?

Your course access will be temporarily suspended when you miss a payment. We will incur an extra fees of £10 for late payments. At the same time, we understand that unforeseen situations can occur. In such a case, you may contact the accounts team via accounts@excelonlearning.co.uk so that we can help you with available options.

What’s the next step after payment?

After your payment gets processed, you will receive a welcome email. The email will include your login information along with instructions to access your course materials. Please check the spam folder in your email account if it seems like you did not receive it.

I haven’t received login details even after completing the payment. What should I do?

First, check your spam or junk email folder. If you still cannot find the email, contact us at info@excelonlearning.co.uk. We will resend your login details to you without delay.

What is the process for enrolment at Excelon Learning?

The online enrolment process for our courses requires applicants to complete their registration through our website. The application process requires applicants to select their desired course and complete the application form before proceeding with payment. The system provides users with an efficient yet uncomplicated method of completing their tasks. Is there any specific time for registration?                   

No, there is no specific registration time. The course permits learners to enrol at any point throughout the year. However, learners should register for their courses early because it will help them get an early start and maintain progress toward their educational objectives.

What are your Terms and Conditions?

Our Terms and Conditions  provide essential details about the course, the enrolment process and other important information. The information can be found on our website for your convenience. We recommend reviewing them before registering for your selected course.

What should I do after completing registration?

After registration, our admissions team will send you a welcome email containing instructions and an enrolment form link. You will also be guided to log in, get access to the course content and then you will be able to start taking the course. However, you are required to complete the enrolment form within 14 days and if you are unable to do so within the specified time, your course access will be revoked.

What if I want to withdraw from my course?

Withdrawing from the course requires you to contact our support team at your earliest convenience. You can contact the support team via support@excelonlearning.co.uk. Our support team will provide you with further assistance in this matter.

How do I access my course?

You need to log in to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) with the provided credentials to get access to the course. Your learning process begins right after you complete the login procedure.

How would I log in and where’s the login option?

You just need to click on the top right “VLE Login” button on the website to log in to the VLE. The course will be accessible on your dashboard after you login with the provided username and password.

What support materials can I access on the platform?

The platform provides all learning material including books, resources, study guides and templates along with discussion forums on your course dashboard. These resources support your learning journey along the course.

I forgot my login details. What should I do now?

The login page has a “Forgot Password” option which users can use to reset their login information. You may follow the instructions provided to regain access. Alternatively, you can send an email to our support team at support@excelonlearning.co.uk if you require assistance.

How to submit assignments?

Learners must submit assignments through the online VLE platform which provides a specific submission area. You must complete the tasks according to the instructions. The process ensures your work appears at the required place for marking.There is also an induction video available under the welcome pack on the course page that guide you through the process.

How to view feedback on the assignment?

You can view feedback on your assignments by logging into your VLE account. Tutors provide you with feedback by grading of your assignment. Whenever your tutor uploads your feedback, you will receive a notification on your email.

Can I change my password?

You can change your password after logging in to your VLE account from your account settings. There would be instructions on how to change your password.

When will my assignment be graded? It’s not graded yet.

Please check your VLE to confirm your submission status. It should display “Submitted for grading.” If the assignment shows “Draft – not submitted”, it means your work has not yet been sent for grading. In that case, please click the submit button to complete your submission.

If you’re unsure or continue to experience issues, please contact your tutor via “Message my Teacher” option on the VLE. They will review the situation and provide you with an update on your assignment status.

What procedure should I follow to contact technical support?

You can reach out to our technical support team through email at info@excelonlearning.co.uk. The team provides assistance for all problems related to the platform. We make sure learners receive support throughout the course.

I want help regarding my assignment. To whom should I contact?

Learners can reach their tutor through the “Message my Teacher” option on the course page. They will help you to navigate through your coursework.

Can I request a telephone tutorial?

Yes, you can request a telephone tutorial. Learners who want to schedule a telephone tutorial should reach out to our support team. We will accommodate you by scheduling a call session with one of our academic expert guides.

When are live webinars conducted?

Live webinars are organised on a quarterly basis and are scheduled based on learner demand and expert availability. You will be notified if a webinar is arranged for a specific quarter well before time through your VLE dashboard.

How can I request or join a webinar?

You can express your interest in specific topics, and once enough demand is gathered, a live webinar is scheduled. Registered users will receive notifications that include all joining details.

Are webinar topics fixed in advance?

No, webinar topics are primarily driven by learner demand. This allows us to deliver sessions that are most relevant and useful to our learners.

What is the turnaround time for marking?

Tutors complete the assessments within an appropriate time period. The exact time frame for marking the assignment is mentioned on your payment plan as it differs from course to course.

Who should I contact about grading concerns?

If you have any concerns, you should contact your tutor first. You can reach out to your tutor by using the “Message my Teacher” option available on your course page. They will review your query and provide clarification.

What is your policy on plagiarism?

We have a strict policy against plagiarism. All work must be original and must have proper references. In case of plagiarism concerns, your work may be rejected or referred for authenticity. Learners may access the plagiarism policy mentioned on their course dashboard.

What is your policy on AI-generated content?

We recommend AI tools may be used for research or ideas only. All submitted work must reflect your own understanding. In case we suspect that there is AI in your assignment then we will take action as per our academic policies.

What will happen if I submit the wrong assignment?

You may contact your tutor immediately if you submit incorrect work. The next steps will be explained to you via assignment reversion on the VLE.You may re-submit the correct version later.

What will happen if I do not pass the assignment?

You will receive feedback from your tutor which will highlight the areas requiring improvement. You may have the opportunity to resubmit your work which will help you meet the required standard for a Pass.

Are there any re-enrolment charges?

If your course access expires, re-enrolment fees may apply depending on the level. The exact amount will vary by course.

  • For Level 1 and Level 2 courses, you will be charged a re-enrolment fee of £15
  • For Level 3 courses, you will be charged a re-enrolment fee of £25
  • For Level 4 courses, you will be charged a re-enrolment fee of £35
  • For Level 5 courses, you will be charged a re-enrolment fee of £50
